Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how InklikEdu ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the InklikEdu School CRM mobile application and website (the "Service"). The Service is a business tool used by school staff to manage admission enquiries and leads.

Who uses this app

The Service is intended for authorized school staff (administrators, counselors, and reception users). Access requires an account provisioned by a school administrator. It is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

Information we collect

Account information of staff users: name, email address, and profile photo provided through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, and the role and school they are assigned to.
Lead / enquiry information entered by staff or received from connected lead sources: prospective student and parent name, phone number, email address, enquiry details, children details (name, age, class), notes, and follow-up records.
Usage records needed to operate the Service, such as comments, call/follow-up dispositions, and timestamps.

We do not collect precise location, and we do not use the data for advertising.

Facebook / Meta Lead Ads integration

A school administrator may choose to connect the school's own Facebook Page to the Service so that leads submitted through the school's Facebook or Instagram Lead Ad forms flow directly into the CRM.

What we access: with the school's authorization, we use Meta's Graph API and the leads_retrieval permission (together with the related Page permissions the school grants) to receive new lead submissions in real time and to read the school's lead form structure so fields can be mapped correctly.
What we do with it: lead data received from Meta (such as name, phone number, email, and the answers a prospective parent submitted on the ad form) is stored as a lead in the connecting school's account and used only to let that school's staff follow up on the enquiry. We do not use Meta lead data for advertising, and we do not share it with any other school or third party.
Access tokens: the access token issued when a Page is connected is stored in encrypted form and is used only to receive that school's leads.
Disconnecting: a school administrator can disconnect the Facebook Page at any time from the school's settings in the CRM, which stops further lead retrieval. Removing the app from the school's Facebook Business settings has the same effect. Data already received is retained as described under "Data retention and deletion" below.

Our use of information received from Meta APIs follows Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

How we use information

To provide and operate the CRM (app functionality).
To authenticate users and manage their accounts.
To let school staff track, assign, and follow up on admission enquiries.
To secure the Service and prevent misuse.

How information is shared

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Data is stored on our own servers and is accessible only to authorized users of the relevant school. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers that host the Service strictly on our behalf, and may be disclosed if required by law.

Data security

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and third-party access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted by role-based permissions and scoped to each school. We take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as an account or school remains active, or as needed to provide the Service. You may request access to, or deletion of, your data by contacting us at the email below or via our data deletion page at schoolcrm.inklikedu.com/delete-account. School administrators can also deactivate accounts and remove records.

Children's privacy

The Service is a staff tool and is not directed to children. While staff may record limited details about a prospective student (such as a child's name, age, and class) as part of an admission enquiry, this information is entered by school staff for administrative purposes and is not collected from children directly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
